Hello!

Well it’s been a mighty busy weekend with travels, and gigs, and shopping and all I’m all puffed out! Did you manage to get in any shopping done for Christmas? I’m note sure what all this Black Friday thing is but I definitely took advantage of some of the weekend discounts.

But, more exciting than that I want to tell you all about the amazing experience that was Friday!

This weekend I went to see The Naked and Famous in concert in the O2 Academy, Bristol. For those who don’t know TNAF they are a band from New Zealand and this year released their second album In Rolling Waves (which I’m slightly obsessed with).

I’m terrible at describing music but itunes describes them as an Alternative Rock band. I think I’d agree but I’d probably add some electronica or indie electronica in there too (sorry if you don’t agree I’m honestly terrible at this naming thing).

If you’d like to hear a track this is one of my favourites from the latest album:

Hearts Like Ours

The performance was just incredible. TNAF have an amazing sound, they are all such talented musicians and the energy in the room was just electric!

We were also lucky that the support band were also really amazing. Although only small at the moment, Sons & Lovers are definitely one to keep a close eye on for the future, they are a really fun and talented band and had the whole room jumping from the first song!

I had such an amazing time, having seen three bands perform in only 5 weeks I feel especially lucky and can’t wait to book my next concert.

No doubt I’ll be on Ticketmaster all night booking concerts for 2014!

I hope you liked this post, and don't forget to check back in today because it's Day #2 of the Countdown to Christmas and you have another post coming this evening! If you don't know what I'm talking about then click here to find out more and take part!

See you soon!
xx
