Tuesday Reviews: My January Birchbox Favourites

It's been almost a month since my January Birchbox arrived and with a month of trying and testing I decided it was time to review my favourite products from last month.

For a reminder of the products I got In January's Birchbox take a peak at this blog post:

My January Birchbox

It was really tough choosing because in all honesty I loved everyone of my products this month, but only three products made it into my top picks:

Premae Anatomy Nutrients Instant Renewal Body Oil | £9.50
Vasanti Detox Nutrient-rich Purifying Facial Cleanser | £18
Benefit the Porefessional | £24.50

I was so impressed with all these products they've really made an impression and as my samples are completely out I'm going to definitely be putting in an order for full size products.

I have combination skin which pretty much sums up my whole body. I am always struggling to find products that nourish my dry skin without encouraging too much oil production which is just a disaster if you're blemish prone like me.

I was so impressed with all three of these products, they suited my needs down to the ground.

I just love the Premae body oil, my skin has become so much softer and I have no dry patches anywhere. It absorbs into the skin within seconds and left my whole body silky smooth all day. Just perfect for when I'm in a rush but still want to feeling pampered. It also has a subtle but lovely organic natural smell which suits me to the ground.

Of all my favourites the Vasanti facial cleanser felt the most luxurious. This cleanser is like liquid silk, the texture is much thicker than most cleanser I've tried but it creates a lovely soft lather and left my skin feeling really fresh, cleaned and nourished. I would highly recommend this facial cleanser for any skin types, at £18 it's more expensive than your high street brands but for the luxury you get is worth every penny.

Last but not least, we can't forget the infamous Benefit Porefessional. I've never used a primer before, but with all the hype that this product caused I was dying to try it out and can promise I wasn't disappointed. I can't compare it to any other primers, but what I can say is it really made a difference to how long my make up lasted. I know with confidence that if I wear the porefessional, I can put my make up on first thing in the morning, and everything will still look perfect when I leave the office at 5pm. Even on nights out I've only ever had to make minor touch ups and know I can walk about and not worry that my foundations disappeared or my eye liners wandered around my eyes! It's also invisible! From the moment it touches my face it feels invisible. It vanishes straight into my skin and still left my skin feeling light and my pores clog free.

I've loved using these products this month and though I'm excited for my next box, all three of these products will be making it into my regular routine.

Have you ever tried these products before and what were your thoughts? I'd love to hear your views.

Tuesday is now my regular review day so make sure you come back for more reviews soon, and if you have any products you'd like me to test and give an honest review let me know and I'll try and include them soon.

Bye for now!
